About The Project
Scott™ EPIC3 RI/RDI VoiceAmp is a clip-on-mask device that provides firefighters with high fidelity audio to easily communicate while on scene.
How It Works
The VoiceAmp allows firefighters to project their voice outside of the mask. Software and hardware techniques are employed to amplify voice; while minimizing breathing noises and feedback.
The Radio Interface / Radio Direct Interface communicates through Bluetooth® Headset Profile for direct connection to an RI-LSM (Bluetooth® enabled Lapel Speaker Mic), or a Bluetooth® enabled Long Range Radio in the case of the RDI.
How it can be used
This is an essential way for firefighters and other safety workers to be able to clearly communicate while on scene.
